The SAFE-T Patrol Team is a free service offering students, staff and visitors a walking escort to any location on campus or in close proximity to the campus. Team members are hired and trained by the Ohio University Police Department, who wear jackets or shirts with the SAFE-T Patrol Team logo, and carry radios for direct contact with a dispatcher. SAFE-T Patrol Teams usually consist of a male and a female, but may be a two male or two female team dependent upon staff availability. Pre-arranged escorts can be made to save time, or a team will arrive within minutes of the call for service.

The SAFE-T Patrol Team is convenient and easy to use:

• The SAFE-T Patrol Team is available seven days a week from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. When you see them, ask them to walk you home.
• All you have to do is call 740-593-4040.Teams are easy to recognize by their logo shirts or jackets.

Team members are trained student employees who are in constant radio contact with the Ohio University Police Department. Teams usually consist of a female and a male or two females.
