Transportation services is comprised of Motor Pool operations, charter bus operations, CATS – Campus Area Transit System, CAT CAB – Campus Area Transit Cutting Across Boundaries, Courtyard Apartment bus service, University Airport Shuttle, University Service garage, campus fueling system, vehicle registration/titling and licensing.

Transportation Services Motor Pool department rents vehicles to departments and organizations campus wide. Providing departments and student organizations with an array of cars and vans, additionally transportation service administers a vehicle lease program for University departments.

Transportation Services Charter buses offer three over-the-road motor coaches as well as shuttles

Transportation Services CATS shuttle provides routes that are student friendly by reaching all main points of campus – The New University Baker center, Mill street apartments, Grosvenor, Biochemistry building, and many more stops

Transportation Services CAT CAB provides transportation within a one mile radius of the New University Baker center for individuals with mobility limitations

University Courtyard bus service – provides transportation service to the Universities Courtyard apartments then to the University Baker Center

University Airport Shuttle service – Transports students from Ohio University main Athens campus – to the Port Columbus Airport on specific dates and times.

OU Garage – Service garage is responsible for the complete servicing and annual inspection of over 500 vehicles, the service garage also provides major and minor repairs to all vehicle components, preventative maintenance, light bodywork, and fabrication.
