A Quality and Cost Improvement Initiative for Ohio University

Our mission is to provide the University community with a high quality, efficient, customer-driven menu of Shared Services; aimed at streamlining the processing of business transactions and making them as cost effective as possible, while providing faculty and staff needed time to pursue the critical mission(s) of their specific units, and ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and institutional policies and procedures.

Shared Services will be a valued and respected business partner that provides essential services to our customers, allowing them greater financial and human resources to utilize toward efforts to further the academic mission of Ohio University. Our people and our business will focus on quality, continuous improvement, and service that make us the provider and employer of choice at Ohio University, and the business model to follow in higher education.
