Looking for a fun and enjoyable way to volunteer? Try OU Campus Recycling’s Adopt-a-Game program! Gather your friends, club members, sorority or fraternity and come on out to help recover 80% of the waste generated at OU sporting events.

Who: Any group interested in volunteering and helping to reduce OU’s environmental footprint!

What: Help to gather recyclables and trash during time-outs and half-time.

When & Where: At any men's or women's home basketball game!!!

Why? OU generates a large amount of solid waste! 90% of this waste is recyclable material. Help to boost our recycling rate and beat our competitors in the 2007 RecycleMania Competition!!!

How? Contact Sarah DeWitt at sd322403@yahoo.com to adopt a game! Then recruit your volunteers! 4-6 people can cover one women’s basketball game, and 15-35 people can cover one men’s basketball game. Then come to the event and start recycling!!! We meet 30 minutes before the game to train and get set-up. This is an easy way to volunteer while having fun!
