Ohio University's Department of Parking Services would like to make the University community aware of the following changes that will be occurring with meters across campus.
All items outlined below will be effective August 1, 2010. Citations will be issued for infractions starting on that date in areas where changes have occurred.
Currently, various meters across campus have a time restriction of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. while others are enforced until midnight. Due to increased usage of meters across campus as well as to ensure consistency and avoid confusion, all meters will be enforced until midnight across the board.
1. Lot 18 at Hanning Hall currently has one metered space. A second metered space is being added in this lot.
2. Lot 6 at Scott Quad currently has 3 metered spaces. 3 Additional Spaces are being added.
3. Lot 87 at the Ping Center will have 6 additional metered spaces added to the spaces currently in this area.
4. The Facilities Management visitor lot off Riverside Drive currently has four visitor spaces. These visitor spaces will be converted to metered spaces. All other spaces in this lot are for state vehicle parking only.
