Ohio University Moving Services has a staff of eight fulltime movers. They are responsible for moving anything from a box to an entire building.

The moving department also has a contract with Pro-Moving (Atlas) for larger moves.Moving Services rents tables, chairs and stages to departments and student organizations of Ohio University. Table & Chair Rental

Moving Services also provides fork lift operations. The department has two fork-lifts with max. lifting capacity of 9000 lbs. We also have other equipment for moving heavy equipment such as presses, centrifuges, fume hoods, kilns, etc. Moving Services can also contract rigging for extralarge equipment moves.
