The Moving & Surplus Department, a division of Campus Services, is responsible for administering all Ohio University moving & surplus services to Residence Halls and general fund buildings on the Athens campus.
The Moving & Surplus department provides service to 40 residence halls and 65 General Fund buildings. The surplus department also provides support to branch campuses.

Ohio University Moving Services has a staff of eight fulltime movers. They are responsible for moving anything from a box to an entire building. The moving department also has a contract with Pro-Moving (Atlas) for larger moves.
