Summer Meal Plan Information

Dining facilities for the summer will be in Nelson Dining Hall. If you have purchased one of the following meal plans: Super 20, Super 14, 20 Meal Plan, 14 Meal Plan, or 10 Meal Plan, there are some general rules that apply to whichever plan you have chosen.

You may not transfer or loan your photo ID card. You may use your card to enter a dining hall only once during a meal period. The meal week begins with the first meal served Sunday and ends with the final meal served Saturday. Meals are not transferable from one meal week to another. If you lose your card, immediately report it to the ID Card Services at 593-1610 or the Ohio University Police Department at 593-1911.

Meal hours for Nelson Dining Hall during the summer are as follows:

  • Breakfast (Sun. through Sat.)
    7:15 am - 9:00 am
  • Continental Breakfast (Sun. through Sat.)
    9:00 am - 10:00 am
  • Lunch (Mon. through Sat.)
    11:00 am - 1:30 pm
  • Brunch (Sun.)
    7:15 am - 9:00 am
  • Dinner (Mon. through Sun.)
    4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Note: Dining Hall hours on July 4 are to be decided. Students may need to arrange carryout meals on this date.

If you would like to know what is on the menu for any particular day, the information is available on the Dining Services site at http://www.ohiou.edu/food. Detailed menu information and service hours for each food service location will also be broadcast daily at CATVision on the Residence Hall Television Network - tune into Channel 19 between movie selections. Should you have questions concerning your ID card, please go to the ID office at Baker Center 112.

Information Concerning "Bobcat Cash"

Your Bobcat Cash account is a great supplement to your meal plan. Students holding a Bobcat Cash account may use their photo ID card at Nelson Dining Hall, Nelson Market, and Baker University Center. (See posting at Nelson for their summer hours of operation.)
