To Set Up Your Bobcat Cash Account

Payments for Bobcat Cash may be included with your check for your initial housing deposit and may be sent by mail to the Ohio University Bursar's Office with your completed housing contract before you arrive on campus. Please note on the payment the amount you want dedicated to Bobcat Cash.

All deposits to your Bobcat Cash account must be made through the Bursar's office either on site, or on-line via the student's eAccount.

Funds deposited day after the deposit is received.

Reporting a Lost or Stolen Card

Immediately notify the University ID Office at 154 HDL Center — Phone: (740) 593-1610

The Department of Campus Safety at 135 Scott Quad — Phone: (740) 593-1911

WARNING: Lost or Stolen Card Liability — If the University is notified of the lost card within two (2) business days, the cardholder will be responsible for no more than $100.*

Failure to notify the University within two (2) business days of the loss or theft of the card may result in a maximum liability of $500* for the cardholder, providing the University can prove it could have prevented someone from using the card illegally.

* Your liability for unauthorized charges can never exceed the balance in your Bobcat Cash account because neither you, nor anyone else, can overspend the balance.
