On October 4th & 5th, over 1,000 students in grades 3-6 at Athens City Schools will visit Ohio University to learn about energy and alternative energy options.
The event will contribute to building a strong foundation for sustainable choices by helping Athens students appreciate how the decisions they make about using natural resources affect the environment all around us. Demonstrations, lessons and hands-on activities, all designed to meet the public schools' academic standards, will focus on energy, conservation and the environment.
