The Department of Housing and Food Services operates the Residence Hall Cable Television Network in cooperation with the Ohio University WOUB Center for Public Media.

CATVision provides cable television service to university-owned residences and dining halls and other university departments requiring the service.

CATVision is dedicated to providing a cable service that:

• supports the academic mission of the university
• provides a campus wide system for communicating community and emergency information
• encourages student residents to participate in the selection and/or production of programming for the network
• enhances the residential living experience by providing a wide variety of educational, entertainment and general-interest programming that reflects the interests of a diverse student body, broadens students' cultural and aesthetic horizons, and promotes exploration and discussion of contemporary issues.
