The Residential Housing Office operates the Residence Hall Cable Television Network in cooperation with the Ohio University WOUB Center for Public Media.

CATVision provides cable television service to university-owned residences and dining halls and other university departments requiring the service.

CATVision is dedicated to providing a cable service that:

• supports the academic mission of the university
• provides a campus wide system for communicating community and emergency information
• encourages student residents to participate in the selection and programming advisement for the network
• enhances the residential living experience by providing a wide variety of educational, entertainment and general-interest programming that reflects the interests of a diverse student body, broadens students' cultural and aesthetic horizons, and promotes exploration and discussion of contemporary issues.
