No service is provided on weekends, quarter breaks or University holidays, if there is a level 1 or 2 Snow Emergency please call our offices to see if the shuttle is running. CATS will NOT run under a Level 3 snow emergency.
BUS STOPS
Each CATS bus stop is clearly marked with a sign reading “Bus Stop” and includes an informational panel with information specific to that stop. These panels inform riders of what routes service that stop, what times they arrive, etc.
LOST & FOUND
Any personal items that may have been left on a CATS shuttle can be picked up the next business day at the Transportation Services office. Transportation Services is not responsible for any lost or damaged items.
CATCAB
Campus Area Transit Cutting Across Boundaries or “CATCAB” is a para-transit service available to individuals with mobility limitations needing transportation around campus. For more information, please call 597-1909 or visit our CATCAB web page.
HOW TO RIDE
- Riding CATS is free! No ID or pass is needed.
- In order to provide on-time service and for passenger safety, shuttles can pick-up and drop-off passengers at CATS bus stops only.
- Although CATS strives to provide on-time service, certain circumstances may keep CATS from arriving at stops on time (i.e. traffic congestion, weather, construction). It is a good idea to arrive at a CATS bus stop approximately 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival time and wait until approximately 5 minutes after the scheduled arrival time.
- When boarding a shuttle, please be courteous to others and wait to the side of the shuttle door until all passengers getting off at that stop have de-boarded.
TRANSFERRING ROUTES
CATS runs two routes around campus. Time schedules have been set up to allow both routes to arrive at Baker Center with minimal wait time. This allows easy transferring from one route to another. Other stops around campus are serviced by both routes as well, with minimal wait time.
