Tired of having to hike from one end of campus to the other? Fed up with having to climb “the hill” every morning? Having a hard time finding a convenient place to park on main campus? If so, then...

Ohio University Campus Area Transit Service, or “CATS” provides transportation for University students, faculty, staff and visitors throughout campus. Best of all, it’s FREE! No pass or ID is needed to ride. Just look for one of our many bus stop signs around campus and hop on a CATS shuttle. It’s that easy! For your convenience, arrival times are marked at each stop. All CATS stops are handicap accessible, as well each of our CATS (Campus Area Transit Services) buses are handicap accessible.

**NEW & IMPROVED ROUTES**

CATS West Union I & West Union II stops have been modified to meet the needs of the riders here at Ohio University.

The Ridges Loop will now be utilized on an as needed basis to better serve riders at Ohio University. The Ridges Loop will pick riders up from any bus stop location and take them to one of the Ridges stop either The Kennedy Museum or the Child Development Center. If a rider needs picked up at the Ridges the individual can be taken to any CATS bus stop location ONLY, to ensure the safety of our drivers as well as the riders.

West Union 1 & 2 Loops

The West Union Loop provides service from the Biochemistry area of West State Street to main campus to Mill Street Apartments and to East Green. Highlighted areas along this route include: Baker University Center, Jefferson Hall and Mill Street Apartments.

The Ridges Loop The Ridges Loop is now being utilized on an as needed basis. The Ridges bus will come and pick up riders at any CATS bus stop location and take them to one of the two Ridges locations either The Kennedy Museum or the Child Development Center. If there is a rider at the Ridges he/she can call 740-331-5008 and the bus will come and pick up the rider at either one of these bus stop locations. The bus can only pick & drop off riders at MARKED CATS BUS stop locations are for the safety of our Riders and our Drivers. If you would like to schedule a pickup please call 740-331-5008
